Bionical Emas Announces 24‑Hour Charity Spinathon in Support of Hannah’s Hope

Bionical Emas is proud to announce a 24‑hour charity Spinathon in support of Hannah’s Hope, its chosen Charity of the Year for 2026. The event will run from 12 noon on Wednesday 8 July to 12 noon on Thursday 9 July 2026, taking place at the bandstand at Mercia Marina, Findern Lane, Willington, Derby, DE65 6DW.

Two professional-grade spin bikes from Watt Level have been provided, enabling Bionical Emas employees to cycle continuously for the full 24 hours to raise money for the families supported by Hannah’s Hope.

Members of the public are warmly encouraged to attend the charity Spinathon, cheer on the cyclists, and help raise awareness. Those wishing to contribute can donate via the official JustGiving page.

‘Seeing Bionical Emas take on the 24‑hour Spinathon for me means so much—it’s not just the effort, it’s the love, support, and commitment to young people like me facing cancer. It makes
us feel seen, supported, and never alone.’
Hannah Roberts, Hannah’s Hope

‘Bionical Emas continues to show what community, compassion, and determination can achieve. This Spinathon is not just a challenge, it’s also a statement of solidarity with every family Hannah’s Hope supports, and more broadly, cancer patients around the world.’
Tom Watson, CEO, Bionical Emas

Bionical Emas extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who donates, attends, or shares the event. Every contribution helps make a meaningful difference.

With special thanks to Mercia Marina for their help and support in allowing us to host the event on-site.

Notes to Editors
Hannah’s Hope
Hannah’s Hope provides vital respite accommodation for families living with cancer, offering comfort, space, and moments of peace during the most challenging times. The charity was founded in honour of Hannah, who was diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioblastoma in 2022 at just 19 years old. After major brain surgery and an intensive year of treatment, Hannah accessed a life‑saving investigational medicine that has helped stabilise her condition. Her resilience continues to inspire the work the charity does today.
